About Me
In a world of huge social and economic change, there has never been a greater need for psychological resilience.
I am a wellbeing expert with over a decade of invaluable experience in developing Mindfulness programmes for doctors in distress. I specialise in developing courses for individuals in demanding occupations where time (in particular personal time) is very limited, and the demands of the job require constant focus. I teach people how to self-regulate stress, manage their thinking processes, re-balance the mind, and increase inner-stability and wellbeing. I combine Applied Mindfulness with a theoretical understanding of inner processes (thinking, feeling and behaviour), combined with Mindfulness practices of focus, attention, and stress-reduction.
Mindfulness-based training does not necessarily include meditation. My bespoke workplace training is based on practical information on how to increase resilience and manage over-thinking. Depending on the client's needs, I facilitate either a 4 week (one hour per week) workplace resilience training or a more condensed version. For example, specifically for doctors, I have designed and implemented a bespoke one-off one-hour version which has worked exceptionally well to reduce stress, increase focus and improve the sense of wellbeing.
I approach new clients and organisations with a blank page and an open mind as each training is carefully tailored to address the issues in terms of job demands, stress levels, and challenges. Sessions can be delivered both face-to-face and remotely.
Mindfulness is a practice of training your attention and changing thinking patterns. It can help us achieve increased mental clarity and reduce stress levels both at work and in our private life. This is true for individuals, teams, and organisations as a whole.
